Because the firehouse is a landmarked structure, support bolts can only be placed in mortar joints.
The plaque is attached to the mounting plate by Kevin Sherry and Ruben Pagan of Visual Graphic Systems
At Engine 24 Ladder 5, the memorial plaque can be attached directly to the brick.
