Movie about Wendy Williams with Robin Givens, film crew at southwest corner of Washington Square erected a physical barrier in the form of yellow caution tape. Rather then asking people if they would mind waiting or taking another route (cameras weren't rolling, they appeared to be on a break) they blocked the path & had someone sitting on a stool as a guard. When an older couple walked up (a stooped, shuffling man and his frail female companion both with canes) this stool-bound sentry told them that "the park is closed for a film shoot." This was plainly confusing to these folks It was also a real inconvenience as half a block was an effort for this couple. |
