Probably the biggest shoot to ever hit the Village...major sci-fi epic with Will Smith as the last man on Earth (remake of the Omega Man). Lots of complaints, but impossible to imagine a shoot of this size not creating problems despite eveyone's best efforts. Contribution from film company passed on to Washington Square Music Festival, Caring Community, Cherry Lane Theater, Rattlestick Playhouse, Village Temple Soup Kitchen, Merchant's House Museum, Washington Square BA eased some hard feelings. |
