Complaints from merchants of disrupted business. Large intrusive shoot. Response from movie company. I was ... in charge of our shoot on MacDougal & Minetta.
My experience...was entirely positive.
We paid out over $36,000 dollars to 13... businesses...we donated a powerwasher to the Minetta Park when the park manager told me a... donation would never get to the specific park (he said it would go to the general fund)...
We donated $500 to the Minetta Block Association...Our cast and crew of over 100 people ate at ... local restaurants during lunch ....
I bought $250 worth of fallafel for the crew on our first afternoon on Macdougal...
I addressed every ... question and concern from every resident and every business owner who made themselves known to me.
I... did everything I could to make our impact as soft as possible.... I was surprised to see the poor marks about our production because my experience was so positive. Every person/business I dealt with was... satisfied at the end of our shoot... |
